What makes it special

The milk used comes from cows that graze on pesticide and chemical-free natural grass pastures. The cows are never fed grain or subjected to any growth hormone treatment, chemicals, antibiotics, genetically modified organisms or injected pathogens. Their milk contains a healthy balance of essential fatty acids with elevated levels of CLA.

A unique, proprietary filtration and drying method ensures that the whey is not subjected to temperatures that would destroy the original components. The result is a non-denatured, biologically active protein that naturally contains exceptional levels of cysteine, the critical precursor for the production of glutathione, the body’s master antioxidant.

It provides significant amounts of Glutamine – known for its muscle building, gut healing and immune boosting properties – as well as the key regenerative protein components: lactoferrin, immunoglobulins, serum albumin, active peptides, glycomacropeptides and growth factors.

  • What is in the Recharge shakes?

The Recharge shakes include a greens powder and whey protein powder. The greens powder has phytonutrients from organic fruits and vegetables and the whey powder is from grass-fed cows.

How should I prepare my Recharge shakes?

You can make your shakes with water, a cup of almond milk, or you can make a delicious smoothie using the recipes here.

Why do you use whey protein in the Recharge shakes?

Whey is an easy-to-digest protein that contains all the essential amino acids. Especially important is the amino acid cysteine, which is a precursor to glutathione, which decreases as you age. Glutathione is essential in your body’s detoxification process, boosts the immune system, and is one of the most important antioxidants in the body. The whey protein in the Recharge shakes comes from cows that grazed on pesticide- and chemical-free grass and were never fed grain or given growth hormones, chemicals or antibiotics.

Although whey comes from dairy, most people, even those who are sensitive to dairy, tolerate it well. Occasionally I have seen people get gas and bloating from whey. If this happens, you can switch to the dairy-free Sustain shakes.

    Are the Recharge shakes gluten-free?

    Yes, the shakes are gluten-free.

Are the Recharge shakes safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Yes, the shakes are fine to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Are the shakes appropriate for children?

The Recharge shakes are a wonderful way to start the day for children. Full of top quality protein and phytonutrients which can be added to a smoothie, children love our Recharge shakes. With the addition of good fats like avocado, coconut oil, nut milks or ground flax seed, this is so much better than starting the day with sugary cereals.

    Can I travel?

Absolutely! The packets can go with you wherever you go, just take along your blender bottle.

How long can I keep having the Recharge shakes?

You can use the Recharge shakes for the long-term. The shakes are a great way to super-charge your day. If you work out, they make a great pre-or post-workout drink.
